deeper into WordPress

Woot! I feel accomplished! I edited a WordPress plugin tonight. *grin*
Okay, it was mostly the HTML code output that I edited, not really PHP or Javascript (basically code I don’t know), but still. I managed to not screw up my blog while working inside a file with PHP. :3
I also learned what “\n” or “backslash [...]

Walker-Buerge

I will try to make this quick (hah!).
Last week in March of this year (old, I know; I’ve been avoiding writing this for a long time now) my mom and I took my car in to repair three things: wheel bearing on the front driver side needed fixing (thank you to the body repair shop [...]

Edvard Munch (1974)

I saw this really interesting movie yesterday, Edvard Munch, directed by Peter Watkins. It was 50% documentary, 50% drama, and 100% madness. (Okay maybe 80% madness…the other 20% seemed logical to me. *grin*)
There was a narrator who set up most of the scenes and gave context to the short lines that passed between the actors. [...]

still seeing msg

I saw a commercial yesterday for Campbell’s that said there is no msg in over one hundred (and twenty? eighty? I don’t remember) soups of theirs.
I don’t know if they just didn’t include the soups that I have in that commercial, or if the soups that I have are old, and they switched their recipe.
Either [...]

I’ve seen the glowing light of msg

I saw this commercial yesterday for some canned soup. Not sure of the brand, and I don’t want to falsely advertise. (Based on this and the previous post, one would think I’m watching a lot of television. o_O)
The commercial was playing, but I wasn’t really paying attention until they mentioned “no msg” in their ingredients. [...]

my new favorite commercial

I just saw this commercial on tv. It was about reading and using your imagination to go places! Omigosh! Love!
Apparently the Library of Congress started an ad campaign to get kids reading, called Lifelong Literacy.
The commercials start out at a train station crowded full of kids. (Harry Potter!) They’re looking at arrival/departure boards for places [...]

Little Women and Friends

I don’t watch the show anymore, and can’t think why in the world I ever did watch it, but I guess I’ve got a few good references from it …
Whenever I read Little Women now (which is often, because I’ve reread it every few years since 7th or 8th grade), I can’t help but think [...]

more computer woes

As mentioned in a previous post, my laptop has problems coming back from standby.
I thought it was Firefox creating all the trouble but that proved false when I tried to wake up my laptop when no programs were open, yet it still ran very slowly. Now I figure it has to be the wireless netword [...]

everything’s a-ok

I’m a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad blogger. I know. This is the first entry this month, and last month I posted only twice? It would seem like I don’t have much to say, wouldn’t it?
But I do have stuff to say! I have three topics I can write about at the moment. But [...]

Disneyland

So it’s pretty late, but it’s Saturday, and I figure I’ll never write it otherwise, and what’s another half hour or hour at this point, right? (Cut because it might be long and probably won’t interest anyone except those who were there.)

After the earthquake, we went on to California Adventure. On the way we passed [...]
